Best Blondies Recipe Ever

The Best Blondies Recipe Ever produces the most chewy, buttery dessert bar. It is the vanilla, caramel-y cousin to a chocolate brownie, and everyone’s favorite dessert.

• 10 tablespoons salted butter, melted
• 1 ¼ cup granulated sugar
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 4 eggs
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• ½ cup pecans, optional
• ½ cup white chocolate chips, optional


1️⃣ In a skillet over medium heat, add butter to the pan. Melt and brown butter for about 3-4 minutes, until it has turned a more golden color and smells nutty. Remove from heat and let cool completely.

2️⃣ Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 9×13 glass pan with nonstick cooking spray.

3️⃣ In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to mix together browned, cooled butter and sugar.

4️⃣ Add in eggs and vanilla, and mix until combined.

5️⃣ Add in salt, baking powder, and flour, and mix until just combined.

6️⃣ Fold in white chocolate chips and nuts (optional additions).

7️⃣ Pour blondie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40 minutes. Remove from oven when done. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Recipe Notes:

Pan Sizes:
9×9, 8×8, or 11×7 pans produce thicker brownies and require a 55-60 minute total baking time.
